【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardprovidesguidanceontheselection,installation,operationandcalibrationofdiagonalpathtransittimegasultrasonicflowmeters(USMs)forindustrialgasapplicationsItisapplicableonlytothosedevicesinwhichtheentiregasstreamflowsthroughthebodyoftheUSMandthetransducersareincontactwiththefluid(wettedorinvasivetype).Thisincludesbothfull-boreandinsertiontypemetersemployingdirectorreflectivepaths.Itisalsoapplicableto"dirtygases"i.e.wherethegasiscontaminatedwithsolidsand/orliquidsinsmallquantities.Itisnotapplicabletoclamp-on/externallymountedmeters.NOTEAsanaidtoselection,thisstandardincorporatesanuncertaintyclassificationforUSMs.Thistakesintoaccountthecomponentsofuncertaintyrelatingtothemeterplusthoseadditionaluncertaintiesassociatedwithinstallationandoperationeffects.Therearefourclassificationsoffered.Theserangefromhighaccuracy"fiscal"applications(class1)togeneral-purposeprocessflowindicationandcontrolapplications(class4).
